The latest model in BMW’s successful roadster family has arrived at Scotthall Watford. Thanks to innovative technology such as Drive Dynamic Control, and the first Retractable Hard-Top to feature on a BMW Roadster, the new BMW Z4 is the discerning choice for year-round driving pleasure.

Available from £28,645 on the road, the new BMW Z4 can be specified with three powerful engines, the sDrive23i, sDrive30i and sDrive35i. The latter features the 2008 International Engine of the Year and produces 306hp, delivering an electronically-limited top speed of 155mph. Each variant features BMW EfficientDynamics technologies, helping to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 levels while boosting performance.

Thanks to Drive Dynamic Control, standard on all models, the new Z4 offers both ride comfort and dynamic poise. The system allows the driver to alter the throttle and steering response, level of ride comfort (with adaptive M Sport suspension), Dynamic Stability Control response and, on automatic or Double Clutch Transmission models, gear change times to suit your driving style. Three settings are provided, allowing you to alter the drive of your BMW. The standard function is designed to optimise ride comfort for you over longer journeys, while the push of a button sharpens responses for a truly thrilling drive.

The cabin of the new BMW Z4 represents the epitome of sporting luxury. The significantly increased glasshouse and rear window ensure an extremely light and airy interior, and there is also more practical storage space within the car.

While a number of BMW driver innovations, such as a remote opening function for the Retractable Hard-Top in the car key, come as standard, a wide range of optional equipment can also be specified. For example the BMW 6-disc DVD changer gives you compatibility with audio CDs, MP3 CDs and DVDs.
